anxiety, inflammation, fatigue, cravings, digestive issues and, worst of all, a negative
My story is one that took hard work, motivation, and constant effort. Over ten years
ago, I took responsibility for my own health and started taking small measured steps
towards a healthier, cleaner diet and lifestyle. I started working out and making
healthier food choices, and I started seeing results within weeks! I then experimented
with eliminating sugar and red meat from my diet; suddenly, my digestive issues
cleared up and I had much more energy.
With time, I started listening to my body and giving it what it needed. I developed a
more positive body image and, best of all, I felt better about myself. I felt more
confident and comfortable in my own skin. I felt more attuned to my body and its
needs. I was happy and I felt so GREAT… I want you to feel great too!
My own experience motivated me to learn more about health and nutrition, and I have always been happy to share my own knowledge and help others achieve their own healthy lifestyle and happiness. Going through my health coaching certification at Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) taught me that being healthy is not just about what you eat, but extends to all aspects of ones life. It helped me truly find my own balance and appreciate other people's uniqueness. I believe that everyone is different, and what works for me doesn't work for everyone. I don't advocate a particular style of eating to my clients, and I believe that moderation is key to being healthy. Absolutely, I do not advocate fad diets or food deprivation... I’ve been there and have tried it all. You maybe still believe that calorie/point counting and eating a low fat, low carb, high protein diet makes you healthy and lean. Well, let me show you a healthier and more effective way to achieve results.
Being healthy is truly a conscious decision I make every day and with every choice … I wish I could tell you that there is a secret recipe and that this won’t take any effort, but like anything else in life it takes hard work, determination, and commitment, but it’s so very worth it and it DOES get easier. Wellness is truly within your reach. It doesn’t need to be complicated or confusing, let me show you how.
As a wife, mom and business owner life is pretty busy! Most days it’s a juggling act, but truthfully all the years of investing in a healthy mindful lifestyle have had a tremendous impact on me, and it’s exciting to see how much of a positive effect I have on my family’s health.
