Fall Apple Crisp

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Yields: 8 -10 servings

Ingredients:

Topping: 
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup almond meal
1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 
1/4 cup coconut oil 


Filling:

3 medium apples, cored and thinly sliced 
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 lemon juice 

Vanilla Yogurt Sauce (Optional)

1 cup full fat yogurt

2 tablespoon raw honey

1/4  teaspoon vanilla extract 

Mix all ingredients very well in a bowl. Adjust honey and vanilla to desired taste.

Directions: 

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix topping ingredients together and set aside. 

  3. Mix all filling ingredients together and pour in a greased baking pan. 

  4. Arrange topping ingredients on top of filling then bake uncovered for 30 minutes.

  5. Serve warm with vanilla yogurt sauce on top (optional)
