An All Natural Deodorant That Actually Works!

I know what your thinking and believe me I had my doubts too... But once I found a winning recipe, that actually works, I’ll never go back!

Have you taken the time to read the ingredients on your standard deodorant stick... Let’s take a look at what I used for years (Dove): Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly (14.8%), Cyclopentasiloxane, Stearyl Alcohol, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Ppg-14 Butyl Ether, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dimethicone, Polyethylene, Fragrance (Parfum), Steareth-100, Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ethylene Dodecanedioate, Bht, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil.

All these chemicals are designed to keep bacteria away, with aluminum as an active ingredient; the antiperspirant that blocks the sweat ducts. But as you know our bodies are meant to sweat... In fact, it's an essential function to help regulate our temperature and detoxify our system.

I tried most all natural brands out there... and admittadly many did NOT work for me but I finally found what did work and excited to share it with you all!

Does an all natural deodorant really work? YES, It does!

I use this deodorant daily and I feel + smell amazing! Using a few basic ingredients from your own kitchen.

So HOW does it work?

Coconut oil is a natural anti-bacterial,

Baking soda takes care of odor,

Cornstarch/Arrowroot absorbs moisture,

Lavender oil smells amazing!

There are many recipes out there but here's the one I use and love:

¾ cup organic raw coconut oil

½ cup cornstarch (you can use arrowroot if you prefer)

½ cup baking soda

20 drops Lavender oil ( you can use your favorite essential oil scent)

In a container, mix all ingredients well. If your coconut oil is solid, you may need to melt it first (I do 20 seconds in the microwave) . And that it... Mix well and It’s ready to use!

Apply with fingertips; I dry my underarm before applying then I rub it in and wait a few minutes for the oils to be absorbed, so I don’t get any on my clothes. Depending on the temperature, it could be solid or liquid throughout the year, but no worries it all works just the same You can store the mixture in a deodorant container if you wish, and apply it like regular deodorant or just like me in an air-tight container.

Is the do it yourself option not for you? No worries at all, there are all natural brands that work!!! Here are two all natural brands that I have personally used and loved! 1. Primal Pit 2. Primally Pure.
