Real Chocolate Cake 

 

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 18-20 minutes
Yields: 8 -10 servings


Ingredients
½ cup coconut oil
½  cup coconut sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup almond flour
½ cup cacao powder - Non Dutch-process/ Non alkalized cocoa. You can find it here
2 tsp baking powder


Directions

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cream together wet ingredients; eggs, coconut oil, coconut sugar and vanilla

  3. Add almond flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix well.

  4. Pour into a greased cake pan and bake for 18-20 minutes.

 

Frosting: (optional) 

Ingredients:

 

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/4 cup raw honey 

1 tbsp raw cacao powder - Non Dutch-process/ Non alkalized cocoa. You can find it here

1/8 tsp vanilla 

Directions: 

Mix all ingredients well. Chill if too runny, then spread on cake.
