"I have seen many posts about weight loss lately and felt like I wanted to share my experience and give hope to anyone who is desperately wanting to lose weight, that's me on the left on the way to the hospital to deliver my son and the second photo is me now 8 months postpartum, I gained 20 kgs during my pregnancy and was 10 kgs over weight, now I have lost 31 kgs (around 68 LB) and even thinner than I was prior to getting married, after giving birth I was on a diet that I have created and thought it would work (it did work before) but unfortunately it didn't and I was so desperate to lose the weight so I reached out to this group and most of the comments mentioned Farah El-Hadidy, and so I contacted her, she's in the US and I'm in Canada it was a long distance appointments and I loved it, being a mum and on the go, having the appointment on the phone was very convenient, she opened my eyes on so many things, gave me guidance on how to eat and what to eat, and I followed through, she has been so patient with me and motivated me like no other and with her help I achieved the body I have always wanted to have but wasn't doing that action to do so, and I gained my health back, I have an active body that is getting used to walking more, working out more, so running after my son is a piece of cake now, don't lose hope ladies, getting pregnant and being a mum doesn't ruin your body, unhealthy eating and not working out does, I'm exclusively breastfeeding too and craved every food you can imagine and I used to wake up at 3 am starving and wanted to eat the fridge, that's why I wasn't eating right and wasn't making smart choices, and please don't listen to anyone who says that a breastfeeding mother needs more food NOT TRUE whatsoever, that's just a misconception we grew up with and my milk supply wasn't affected at all, my advice is, seek professional help, Dont just assume you know how to eat and waste time, hopefully my story inspires one of you and gives you hope that everything is possible if you put your mind to it and most important thing is to be patient."
